Born in Hong Kong, Marsha began her piano lessons at the age of five. She continued her music education in the Chinese University of Hong Kong was awarded a BA (Hons) degree in music. She then went abroad to the Royal College of Music in London, studying organ, piano and harpsichord, and was awarded the Walford Davies prize in 2003, and a Master degree in Music in 2005. During her time in London, Marsha gave a number of public organ recitals.

Since her return to Hong Kong in 2005, Marsha has been actively involved in music activities such as concerts with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the World Youth Choir, the Bach Choir, etc. Her recent performance includes playing the Schumann piano concerto and other duet pieces in the Hong Kong Culture Centre in last June.
