Melissa presents “Joy, Peace, Love, Hope” a musical journey through the ages using ancient to modern music from all around the world. “True JOY comes from our faith, and PEACE is what follows. The LOVE of our God gives us the HOPE we need every day.” Through music and scriptures this spiritual proverb is discovered during this special musical event. This show will reveal the rich and long history of this most beautiful and unique instrument using music and words that portrays the magnificence and versatility of the harp while expressing the passion of scripture and devotion that comes from the Love of God.

Melissa’s musical training began at the age of two with piano lessons from her Mother and harp lessons beginning at the age of 7. She began performing at the age of 9 as a soloist and continued her pursuit of excellence at the Interlochen Arts Academy and then the University of Texas. As a certified Teacher of Music, Dance, and Theater her love of creativity continues to be passed on. Her musical awards are numerous including; Various Concerto Contests throughout the USA, MTNA YOUNG ARTIST Scholarship, COLBURN-PLEDGE MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP, guest performer /lecturer for many conventions, performed with music greats Henry Mancini, Barbara Streisand, Vienna Boys Choir, and many world renowned orchestras. Her academic honors include membership in Pi Kappa Lambda, the national music honor society.
